Change of Venue

Location: USS Juanita Medical Courier
Timeline: Concurrent

The change of venue for the Junior medical officer cured quickly when Hiri arrived back to Starbase 1 Medical.

" Lieutenant Hiri reporting for duty." the Caitian greeted her senior officer. That person was stuffing bags and cases in a frantic.

" Lieutenant Commander Jin Yahn. Doctor Hiri we are bugging out. Start filling those boxes with gauze and then move to the medications. We have to be ready for transport in 2 hours."

" Transport? To where?" Hiri hissed.
" The war front. We're needed along the Breen front." Yahn replied.

< One week later >

The USS Juanita was classified as a Mobile Hospital Ship but that did not mean it was exempt from battle or feeling it.

Located behind the fleet Hiri's job was to triage patients and get them surgically ready. Not what she was promised but then again most recruiters lied.

The Havana had taken damage and soon had ferried the injured off ship over to the Juanita. Dr Hiri began her triage but soon discovered that would not be her whole job as she began treatments before Yahn even saw them.

This was the first day but already Hiri proved she was more than a purring face as all 46 injured were treated and another 18 casualties were bagged and tagged.

But it was a bitter sweet day when it was discovered a truce had been met with the Breen following this battle.

The Havana had orders to infiltrate the Breen nitrogen facility . In this incident the Breen had been over exposed to minimal nitrogen and forced to with draw .

Now with control over the nitrogen facility Starfleet had made the Breen consider a peace option.
