Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Lireh Vin is defined by a fierce commitment to truth and moral clarity. She speaks her mind without hesitation and will not back down when advocating for what she knows to be right—a quality that makes her a formidable champion for her patients' psychological health. However, her unwavering directness can occasionally create friction with formal Starfleet bureaucracy or officers unaccustomed to such candor. Off-duty, her primary vulnerability is far more down-to-earth: she harbors an uncontrollable sweet tooth and can rarely resist chocolate, making the station or starship's confectionery replicators her favorite haunt after a demanding day of counseling sessions. 4th Host to Vin. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths & Personal Attributes Unwavering Moral Conviction: Possesses a strong internal compass and the courage to advocate for truth, even in difficult situations. In her counseling work, she is not afraid to deliver hard truths to patients or superiors when their emotional well-being or safety depends on it. Direct & Authentic Communication: Clear, open, and candid, she says what she thinks without hidden agendas. Her transparency builds quick trust with crewmates who value an honest perspective. Weaknesses & Flaws Indulgent Sweet Tooth: Possesses a serious weakness for confections, particularly high-grade chocolate. Replicator logs often reveal her late-night guilty pleasures, and a well-timed sweet treat is one of the few ways to reliably distract or bribe her. Potential for Friction: Her blunt honesty and insistence on standing up for her convictions can occasionally put her at odds with rigid Starfleet protocol or overly sensitive crewmates who mistake her directness for confrontation. |

| Personal History | Born in 2370 in the Salbreen province of Trill, Lireh Vin (family name Tannree) enjoyed a comfortable upbringing surrounded by her family's centuries-old liquor and brewing business. As an only child, she developed a habit of treating close friends like adopted siblings. She made history within her family by becoming the first to join Starfleet, as well as one of only three to be accepted as a Symbiont host. Starfleet Academy & Counseling Career Driven by an innate curiosity about people and culture, she entered Starfleet Academy, where she excelled in the field of counselling and crisis intervention, graduating at the top of her specialization. Her natural affinity for communication served her well: already fluent in two ancient Trill dialects from a young age, she graduated fluent in 12 languages, including English, Klingon, Vulcan, Denobulan, and Andorian. Combined with her clinical training, her linguistic fluency makes her an exceptionally capable counsellor for multicultural crews. Prior Hosts of the Vin Symbiont Torbin: A renowned scientist at the peak of his career and a talented sculptor whose artwork graces public parks and buildings across Trill. He raised a son, Darrek, with his wife Telah, and passed away at age 101. Lennah: An accomplished artist and award-winning gardener who managed a celebrated vineyard on Trill with her husband, Loren. Together they raised twins, Jayna and Luca. She passed away at age 98. Jorral: An experimental engine test pilot who helped design and test sub-light and warp propulsion systems. He tragically died at age 35 in a flight accident, leaving behind his wife, Lucy, and their daughter, Nicole. |
