Jaz will always show deference to another's position even if she personally cannot stand the person receiving it for whatever reason. Most times, this dislike is caused by a lack of respect towards herself, undo arrogance, or any number of other personality quirks. |
| Service Record | Jaz is a member of the Quazi Concordium Starforce, with the rank equivalent to a 2nd Lieutenant. As it stands, after a secret meeting between Chancellor Barnephous Zethra and the Federation Council, she was asked by the Chancellor if she would be interested in the officer exchange program. She had been a member of his staff, along as his personal medic, and had served the Chancellor for two years. She trusted him and loved him as the Catfolk sovereign ruler. Being a soldier who saw to his health needs, trusting Barney completely, she volunteered to do as he asked. With her skills in EMT/Field Medic, and her training in basic engineering and sciences to the level of an Operations officer, Starfleet decided to place her in the Starfleet Marine ranks as a Warrant Officer. Jaz was fine with this since she was unfamiliar with how Starfleet did things, and it provided the opportunity for her to increase her knowledge and not get completely stripped of her rank, per se. Special dispensation was given for her to wear her own unique style of uniform, and to allow her to bring her personal weapons along on assignment; Katana, dual Wakazashi, and a Tanto. Not to be worn daily, but to have them with her in case of need. |
