| Personal History | Born in 2372 just outside Mexico City on Earth. Maria was left in a basket outside a Church shortly after birth with a tag 'SanChez' attached. A distant relative was located and soon came to pick the baby up and would raise her as her own; someone who she would affectionally call Aunty in later years. Maria had a rough childhood and soon realized that dominance was the only way to survive when dealing with the lawlessness in her world; to that end Maria started working out at a local gym and started building muscles. By the time Maria was in her late teens she got seduced by the wrong crowd and later ended up on the wrong side of whatever law there was. She was given a choice either go to prison or enlist in Star Fleet; Maria chose the latter. Maria applied to the Academy as a SFMC Recruit but was denied due to her criminal record; so she chose the next best thing; Security/Tactical. |
