Doctor Luthor Vincent Volt sat in his office for CMO, aboard the Berlin-class USS Diligent, as the ship was being moved to the M-69 sector. A skeleton crew manned the vessel, and with him being medical, he was well out of their way to do just that. It had come as no surprise that there were minor injuries. Twisted ankle, someone tumbling down a short staircase in engineering, and minor burns, cuts, and scrapes. Nothing too awful, which was good. Currently he was all alone in Sickbay, the rest of his staff waiting at Starbase M-69 after leaving their old ship, the USS Capernaum. He had been aboard for the testing of both the standard warp drive and the quantum slipstream, both operating at peak efficiency as far as he could tell. It was not like the Bridge called down to tell him so, and since he was not flashburned frozen meat floating in space, he surmised that the engines were operating within parameters.

Standing up and doing a stretch to get the blood flowing, Doctor Volt made his way to the medical storage locker. A room locked down since there were various non-replicatable medicines and materials within, not to mention narcotics. Tapping in his code, the door opened and he stepped within, pulling his palm PADD out and activating it. So began his task of making sure that all that was listed was actually here. Starfleet was pretty good at making sure Sickbays had what they needed, but as with all living things, mistakes did get made. Before the ship left M-69 for its first zoom-about, Luthor wanted to make sure the vessel and his Sickbay had all they needed. As he worked, Volt tapped for some music to play in the background, through the speakers at a low level, starting with Metallica: Wherever I may roam.

As his song choices played, Doctor Luthor Volt continued to scrutinize Sickbay's storage facilities.
