Lieutenant JG T'Pri (pronounced; T'Pree) arrived by runabout, brought to Starbase M-69 by the Starfleet transport service provided to officers by Headquarters. Her orders were on her PADD, which she had in hand as she read the various reports from the starbase in regards to the various interactions M-69 had had with cultures around them. A Captain Ro Green had requested a diplomatic officer, and as Fleet Captain for M-69, Admiral Aaron Stone agreed that the Commodore's command could do with a diplomatic corps. Not civilian but Starfleet. So, here she was, having traveled for 27 hours straight as the runabout had held to warp six to get here. T'Pri had spent that entire time reading all the logs from M-69, becoming familiar with the staff, station, and all the happenings since Commodore Sureth had taken command and had the station moved to its current location.

T'Pri found it agreeable that the commanding officer was a Vulcan. This Captain Rogue Green was an enigma since a good portion of her personnel file had been redacted without proper clearance. As a Science officer as much as a Diplomatic one, T'Pri could feel the itch of excitement trying to come up from within herself, and countered it with her Vulcan discipline. This region was a plethora of research and investigation, something she was more than willing to join in on. However, the latest reports showed that the Assul species was now at the gates, as it were, and T'Pri read all she could about them, as well. What was provided and logged, of course. Wearing her Science blue, skirt-style uniform with high-heeled, knee high boots and black nylons over her legs and lower body, T'Pri had her legs crossed at the thigh with her PADD atop them. She felt the slight inertial change as the runabout dropped from warp, a male voice coming over the speakers as she sat in the back with other passengers.

"Alright, folks, we've arrived. Make sure any luggage items you are not carrying has a transporter tag and we'll send them over once we land and you depart the ship. If this is your new assignment, welcome to M-69 and good luck in your career. Bridge, out." The warble sounded and the intercom closed down. Having a small shoulder bag, T'Pri closed down her PADD and slid it into the side pocket on her bag. For a few minutes no one could hear anything outside the ship and then there was an ever-so-slight shudder as the runabout passed through the atmosphere integrity forcefield for a docking bay. The ship spun about in place, the aft windows showing as much, then settled to the deck with another light bump. The door leading to the Bridge, and the two exits there, opened and the passengers began to file out. T'Pri took up her bag, shouldered it, then stepped into last place. Her larger cargo items had been tagged and she saw hers, and others', begin to shimmer off the ship by transporter. Once her quarters were assigned she would call for them to be beamed there from the personnel cargo bays.

Being her turn to step down the steps to exit the ship, T'Pri's boots finally came down on the deck plates of M-69. Walking forward a few paces to not be in the way of the pilots should they exit the ship, T'Pri looked around at the busy bay. This starbase was designed along the same lines as Earth Spacedock so it was a massive structure with the population of a large city at any given time. It was not intimidating in the least, just a fact. One could read all they wanted about this place, she reasoned, but the reality of it all would require plenty of free time to move around and orient oneself to what was where. A task she logically looked forward to. Moving with purpose but not rushed, Lieutenant T'Pri began to travel through the base, looking to her PADD and directory signs to get to the quartermaster office and have her quarters assigned. She had been awake for quite some time and needed to meditate and get some rest before locating Captain Green, and anyone else the Captain would need her to meet.
