The damage to the station and having to evacuate the station was stressful for even the old Vulcan Sureth. He checked in with both carriers and even face timed his grand child but he was paused at the face that met him on the other side of the screen.

" I don't believe we have met? I am Commodore Sureth." he greeted
" Not officially. I am Lyrana. The children are under my care. I have several adults assisting me. I was hired by Ellie Kees-Odak and her husband but now I am assisting all the families. " Lyrana replied.

" Thank you Lyrana for all that you are doing. With John and Isabella on duty having a care giver is wonderful." Sureth replied as he realized he used the word wonderful at a time like this.

" It is my please Commodore Sureth. Call anytime." Lyrana replied.

< Several Hours Later >

The events of the remaining part of day 1 was not near as pleasant for Sureth as he learned several casualties had been found. This wighed heavily on him as he entered the end of the day.

He had planned to rest his eyes for 3 hours and then resume duty but rest did not come as numerous calls came in each emergencies of their own. When the time exceeded his rest break Sureth returned to the Auxillary Command Station.

Lt Commander Croesus was finishing up a repair and nodded as he passed the Commodore. His wife Kah’lyn had been very helpful during the initial reaction to the arrival of her clone father. To have a clone twin must be unimaginable Sureth concluded.

Joining the Commodore at Auxiliary Command was the stations new Morale Officer T'Vorissh.

" I have come.to apologize Commodore. My arrival has been a dark omen to you and this wonderful station. I had hoped to broker a peace with the Reman and Romulann peoples. Instead I uncovered Evochs treacherous goal to enslave the star empire." T'Vorissh admitted.

" Nonsense T'Vorissh. There is a phrase among my people Only Spock could go to Romulus. Does that mean others shouldn't try? We will get through this." Sureth reassured.

" You have a very bright flame Sureth of Vulcan."
" So do you T'Vorissh. " Sureth replied as he patted his right shoulder.
