Station Post " The Zenith Timeline "

Mission: THE KINGDOMS COME AND GO
Location: Starbase M-69
Timeline: Concurrent

Nic Covenant was on his quick break before his next shift when he observed a very peculiar person seemingly just appear out of no where, take a seat near one of the viewing windows and commence to talking to him.

" Do I know you sir?" asked Nic.
" Yes and no. You do and you will and we do. Yes we do know each other Nic Covenant. I am Ardoo from the Overwatch.

" Ardoo from the Overwatch? I know about the Overwatch but I have never met one. Why are you here? Is something big about to occur?" Nic asked.
" Probably but then again I hope not. I am here to just relax for once.
" Relax? On this station? Does command know you are here?" Nic asked.
" Not unless you tell them Nic Covenant. The Mirrors are all in place for onc."
" Mirrors? You sure do talk in riddles Ardoo."
" Yes I guess I do.

Nic stood up and then left for his duty but Ardoo on the other hand looked about the station, being careful not to draw attention to himself. Looking out the portals here and there and smiling.

He was glad to be here and for good reason as it was he alone that had preserved this time line.

The concept was very old and went clear to the 35th century of travel back in time. So much so that a temporal war had broken out. Involving numerous entities as they each hoped to preserve their own time lines.

The Overwatch had observed this and at the instant the time lines were sparked to splinter Ardoo saved this one from the same fate.

In the 27th century a small but very powerful device had been designed to halt all molecular activity with in a Star. When the device was stolen all thought it was plumb gone except Ardoo who had helped the creator make the device. Rather than having the real one stolen Ardoo switched it out with the first prototype and he hid the real one for himself.

History would record the device destroyed by 23rd century Captain Picard.

Thus before the Romulan sun went super nova, using this device, the planet and the time line was not fractured.While the others disseminations occurred this time line remained in tact.

And was thus labelled the Zenith timeline.

Returning to his looking out the windows perch on the Promenade, Ardoo again stared out to the stars and smiled.
