[Quarters]

The assignment on the Peel had been a nice change in routine and was actually quite enjoyable but it was nice to be back home finally. Opening her duffel Heidi put everything in it's appropriate place before freshening up a bit. When finished she grabbed a water then decided to go to Medical Operations and let Doctor Williams know she had arrived back to M-69 safely.

After securing her quarters she walked to the nearest lift "Medical Operations Deck 11" came the request.

[Deck 11 Medical Operations]

Walking into the main area Heidi saw Williams as he was finishing up with a patient. Making her way towards him "Doctor Williams how things going" Heidi inquired with a smile.

Hearing a very familiar voice Ramvek looked up with a big smile "Welcome back Lieutenant, I trust you had a good mission" he inquired fighting the urge to give her a kiss.

"Yes I did, thank you for asking" as she moved closer and in a low voice "I'll tell you in more detail if you'd like to come to my quarters for dinner later; that is if you're free of course."

"That would be nice.....say eighteen hundred?" Ramvek inquired. being very pleased to answer her question.

[Heidi's Quarters]

Ramvek arrived right on time as usual having showered and changed into comfortable civilian attire. Activating the door chime he stood and waited.

Heidi opened the door with a big smile "Ramvek please come in" Heidi stated as she stepped back a little.

As soon as Ramvek heard the doors swoosh shut behind him, without saying a word, he took her in his arms and gave her a passionate kiss for several minutes. Looking into her gorgeous eyes "I really missed you while you were gone."

"Wow! I should go away more often I guess" she replied with a grin "I missed you too" then she returned his kiss in kind "Please have a seat and I'll get us some dinner....would you like a glass of wine to go with it?"

"Yes please" he responded then sat on the couch looking around noticing how neat and tidy Heidi's quarters always looked.

Walking back over "Here I thought you might like a nice big bowl of beef stew and a couple of rolls to go with it and I'll grab the wine." Pouring two glasses she handed one to Ramvek before sitting "Ok dig in."

After taking a couple of spoonfuls "Mmm....this is so good" then continued to enjoy the stew.

"That was my mother's recipe I had programmed into the replicator....I'm glad you like it" Heidi replied as she continued also.

After dinner Heidi quickly cleaned up then grabbed another glass of wine for each of them "So did I miss anything important while I was away?"

"Not really; pretty much the usual routine but I will say your Assistant did a great job in your absence" Ramvek commented.

"I hope not too good" she replied with a chuckle "That's good to know and I'll be sure to pass it along when I see her."

"So tell me how was your adventure" he inquired eager to hear if she enjoyed the experience or not.

"First of all Captain O'Connell is so nice. He met me in the Transporter Room and personally walked me to the VIP quarters and mentioned if I needed anything to just ask. The next day I ws invited to the Senior Staff meeting where he introduced me to his staff; everyone was so welcoming....I almost felt like part of the Crew" Heidi explained.

"I've only met the Captain a couple of times but he did seem like a standup sort of person" then Ramvek paused "I hope you didn't have too good an experience...I'd hate to loose you."

Heidi smiled then slid closer and in a soft voice "Not to worry Doctor....I have everything I want right here" then she gave him a kiss.

Ramvek just grinned "And how was the Colony to work with."

"Good. Doctor Aloran and I worked with some of the nursing staff for several hours showing them little things on how to be more productive thereby getting to the patients quicker and being more thorough" Heidi explained "So now those Nurses can retrain the rest of the Staff."

"Wonderful. So all in all the experience was a positive and productive one I take it" Ramvek stated then paused "By the way I want you to take tomorrow off and get some rest before returning to your duties here; you've certainly earned it."

Looking at Ramvek "That's so nice of you and yes I could use a day off; I just hope I don't get too bored."

The he grinned "Maybe you won't get so bored if we have the day off together."

"Really? You're off tomorrow as well? as Heidi paused "So would you like to spend the day together then" which seemed quite obvious but she still wanted to ask.

"That is the general idea if you would like that is."

"Yes I would like that very much" she whispered before giving him a very nice kiss "How about we take this conversation to my bedroom" Heidi commented with a wry smile then stood and offered Ramvek her hand.

Taking her hand he stood and happily followed Heidi into her bedroom. Soon the conversation was without words and clothes were littered all over the room as the couple made love well into the night.
