The older Vulcan transport ship T'Yar had been Sabbath's home since leaving his last post . The last post of his career in Starfleet as a Lieutenant.

At his heart Sabbath was more than a Starfleet officer. He was a researcher and scientist which happily accepted Commodore Sureths invitation to investigate a temporal anomaly linked to the Preservers.

Spending several years on the subject of the Preservers Sabbath had recently achieved his Doctorate and now planned to devote his career to studying the past and specifically the Preservers influence in modern societies.

Sabbath had to leave his previous post very fast and thus exited via a long range transporter. In doing so it took a few days to recover physically which made Sabbath dehydrated. Resting on Vulcan for a few days didn't help either given its lack of water. So when the request to go to Starbase M-69 came Sabbath accepted immediately.

But given the vessel taking him to Starbase M-69 it would take over a week at full warp.

Sabbath read the file on the situation on Aurelia and the arrival of the strange new moon they had inherited. He also referred to the data on Crestacia as it was rolling in from the probe now in orbit.

The Universe was playing a cruel joke on Crestacia and now the planet Aurelia.

Calling ahead Sabbath was able to get through to Sureth who was able to dispatch a runabout to intercept the T'Yar for a sooner arrival time.
