< Ops >

Having returned to M-69 Commander Devroe escorted Leviiah off the McCook traveling on their way towards Ops. Tapping her comm badge "Commodore Sureth this is Devroe please meet us in Ops; we've returned with our guest.

Sureth having been there most of the evening replied " I look forward to your report."

"With respect Commodore I think you may want to have a conversation with Leviiah sooner than later Sir" Angel responded hoping she wasn't being too pushy.

Sureth stared at Leviiath and then to Angel.
" This whole moon issue is out of control. Leviiath what is your role in all of this?

" We are caretakers of the moon and its life forms. We were placed there to attend the planet and its species as a punishment. I was a rising figure in my prime and the Preservers did not agree with my methods. But..I can help you. We can reignite a sun in thos sector." Leviiath replied.

Devroe spoke up "Commodore he has a plan to reignite the sun. IF he's able to do that and IF he's able to move the moon to another timeline that would restore Aurelia and open up all kinds of possibilities for our longterm residents on the Base" she explained hoping Sureth would agree.

" If is the key word here. What about the others on that moon?"

" I trapped them so I could escape with Angel. They are still alive inside their portals. If Uriah finds out I escaped I was be trapped back inside my portal. Please don’t return me to that prison." Leviiath begged.

" If this is true you are a criminal. Number One we need to try and communicate with that moon and this Uriah. Have security escort this person to the brig." Sureth replied.

Hearing Leviiath came not only as a complete surprise but Devroe wasn't too happy she'd been played by this being. Looking at Leviiath "You deceived me and I don't appreciate it at all!!" she stated matter of factly then tapping her comm "Security this is Commander Devroe, I need a Security Team in Ops immediately."

[Understood Commander, we're on our way] Security responded.

Minutes later they arrived "Lieutenant take this being and lock him in the Brig until further notice....we've reason to believe he's a criminal of the worse kind" the Commander stated glaring at Leviiath. Moments later they were gone from Ops. Turning to Sureth "Commodore my sincerest apologies, I had no idea what he was trying to pull here."

" He had me fooled as well Commander. Our bigger problem is the moon right now. Gravitational pull from the planet is causing massive quakes on Aurelia. We have to break the moon from Aurelia's orbit some how." Sureth replied.

Thinking for a few minutes "Given the shear size of the moon it would take two, maybe three large Ships and reverse their tractor beams in concert to push the moon away from the planet; unfortunately we have nothing that size at our disposal" as she paused "Maybe it's something Captain Kingston could help with given his background and his knowledge of Borg technology" Devroe suggested.

" Unfortunately Captain Kingston was called to Starfleet Command to testify about his slipstream drive program. We have to solve this one on our own." Sureth replied.

Thinking for several minutes "Let me contact Captain O'Connell and see what his thoughts are on moving the moon; he has much more experience at this sort of situation than I do" as she paused a moment "Perhaps the two ships could tractor the moon and pull it away instead of trying to push it; since the Peel is parked above M-69 anyway" Devroe explained.

" Push it away? I remember a situation where a large asteroid was going to hit a planet. This involved Captain James Kirk and what later was determined to be a Preserver anti-asteroid defense system. Maybe that moon has one of those?" Sureth replied.

Thinking for a moment "There's one way to find out. With your permission Commodore I'd like to return to the moon with Captain O'Connell and see if I can't talk to Uriah; he should know if such a device even exists on the moon. In the meantime I'll contact Captain O'Connell then we can go from there" Devroe replied already trying to think two steps ahead.

" That might work Commander. Is the Peel nearby?" Sureth asked.

"Yes Sir the Peel is currently parked above M-69, I'll contact him right away before they get sent on another mission; if you'll excuse me Commodore I should get the ball rolling on this" the Commander replied.

===Tag Sureth===

Having been excused Angel went to the Communications Console "Peel this is Commander Devroe, I need to speak to Captain O'Connell right away" she stated hoping he was available.

Moments later she saw a familiar face of a friend appear [Commander what a pleasant surprise. What can I do for you] Jamie responded with a smile happy to see his dear friend.

Angel smiled back "Jamie if you have the time I could use your expertise on something; that is if you're up for a little adventure" she explained with a grin "I would like your opinion on moving a moon actually; I explain the details when you arrive."

[Sounds like fun. So when do you want to get started on this little adventure; I can be there within the hour] Jamie inquired.

"The sooner the better. I'll get the McCook ready for departure so when you get here we can get going right away" Angel responded happy for the help.

[Sounds good; I'll see you soon. O'Connell out.]

Tapping her comm badge as she headed out of Ops "McCook Crew please report to the Ship asap" came the order as she entered the Lift "Docking slip 52A."

< McCook Bridge >

Once everyone was aboard Devroe made the introductions "Everyone this is my friend and colleague Captain Jamie O'Connell, commanding Officer of the USS Peel. I've asked him to assist on this mission. Captain O'Connell this is my Crew."

"Hello Crew I hope I can live up to the Commander's expectations" Jamie responded with a grin.

"Helm set a course for the moon....best speed" came the order.

"Aye Commander....course laid in.....initiating warp four" Helm responded.

"Lieutenant Vin you have the Bridge while the I bring the Captain up to speed on our mission" Deevroe stated before turning to O'Connell "Let's go to my Ready Room" Devroe suggested.

" Yes sir." Vin replied, taking the seat.

< Ready Room >

Jamie and Angel entered when she turned "Can I offer you something to drink Jamie" as she walked behind her desk.

"No, I'm good but thank you. So this is your command now...I have to say it suits you" Jamie commented with a smile as he sat in front of the desk which was quite unusual for a Captain.

Taking her seat "Thank you Jamie coming from you that's high praise. Once we reach the moon you and I will beam down to the surface. I have to contact a Preserver by the name of Uriah and ask him a couple of questions. My hop is he can give us some vital information so we can physically move the moon with the Peel and the McCook away from Aurelia to stop the seismic activity before it destroy the planet." Angel explained "Plus I wanted you to see its size to see if moving it with our two ships is even possible."

Thinking a moment "That's a pretty tall order but depending on the moon's mass it might be doable" Jamie replied being very proud of his ex Number One.

< Bridge >

On the tip Jamie and Angel sat at Conn discussing how to proceed with the move when Helm called out "Commander we're approaching the moon Ma'am."

"Thank you Helm. Drop us out of warp and put us in a high orbit over the moon" Devroe ordered.

Minutes later "Commander we're now in high orbit over the moon as ordered" Helm called out.

"Thank you Helm go to station keeping. Lieutenant Vin the ship is yours" then turning to O'Connell "Ready Captain?"

" Understood Sir. Return safely. "

< Moon >

O'Connell and Devroe materialized on the surface with Angel grabbing her try-corder. Turning it on to get her bearings she turned to Jamie "This way" as thee two Officers headed north.

Several minutes later they stopped "Jamie I must contact Uriah mentally so please don't be alarmed if I look like I'm talking to myself out loud; it's the only way I can reach him" she explained.

Jamie grinned "I think I've known you long enough to know you're quite sane so do what you must" he replied being rather impressed with just how much Angel had grown since leaving the Peel.

Clearing her mind she began "Uriah this is Commander Devroe from the Starbase M-69. We need to talk it's rather important; it's about this moon and Aurelia" as she stood and waited for hopefully a response.

( I do not know you but I can sense you are not here for subterfuge. Please explain as to why you helped the prisoner Leviiath to escape?) Uriah mentally asked all.

"I was deceived by him I was led to believe he was you with the promise of helping us with Aurelia. Only when we returned to the Starbase he I discover the truth. Your prisoner is now our prisoner our to his massive deceptions" Devroe explained mentally hoping Uriah would understand.

Meanwhile Jamie stood quietly seeing Angel standing making gestures with her head and hands.

But then Uriah again appeared sporting Captain O'Connell face.

" We are aware of the damage this world is causing. The deflector needs to be deployed. Angel are you prepared to receive the instructions on how to deploy the deflector?" Uriah asked Angel.

"Yes I am and I also brought a very good friend to help; he's very knowledgeable" Angel responded starting to feel a little fatigued from their mind conversation.

" Typically we educate one who teaches the next but as this is vital bring your friend with you." Uriah replied.

"Thank you Uriah; so where do we go for instruction of this deflector" Angel inquired.

" Follow me." Uriah replied as he snapped his fingers and Vad the large tyrannosaurus creature started clearing their way through the growth to reveal a large monolithic structure.

" Inside are the controls." Uriah pointed as the structure opened at the sound very familiar to her as that of an old style communicator chirp.

Standing for a moment both Officers couldn't believe the sheer size of the structure; it was tall with all sorts of ornate designs on all sides as well as writing that neither one of them could even begin to understand "Lead the way Uriah" Angel commented glancing over to Jamie."

Uriah paused and looked at Jamie.

" You command many and have the respect of many Captain. Angel is one of them. Angel press the vlue.and red stones at the same time."

Jamie gave a respectful nod "Thank you Uriah. The respect with Angel goes both ways" he responded bing quite sincere.

Angel did as requested by Uriah then turning "So what happens next" she inquired.

Uriah then lead the way outside the obelisk and look skyward as a large beam of energy shot up and went into space. Making the moon shutter and quake.

" You may wish to return to your ship."

Feeling the tremors under her feet Angel had to ask "What's going to happen to this moon since I can feel it shifting under my feet?"

" We will leave this area and go to our proper space. Good bye Angel. " Uriah replied .

"Good bye Uriah and thank you for all your help" Angel responded. Taking Jamie's hand She tapped her comm badge "McCook to to return" as the two Officers disappeared from the moon's surface.

< McCook >

Walking back onto the Bridge "Lieutenant Vin report" as Captain O'Connell walked beside her.

"Nothing to report. All systems currently normal."

Lireh replied.

"Ensign Chavez scan Aurelia.....how is the gravitational situation now" Devroe inquired as she sat in the Center Chair.

Minutes later "Commander the surface seems to be settling down.....the activity has diminished by fifty percent" as Samone made some quick calculations "I estimate within one more hour the surface will be back to normal."

Devroe look towards O'Connell and smiled "That is good news, thank you Ensign. Helm take back to M-69...best speed" she ordered.

"With pleasure Commander" as Helm proceeded as ordered.
