Location: Club Bliss
Timeline: current
ON:
Manfred, or best known to patrons as Manny, looked up as a small crowd of people entered Club Bliss. They were dressed in Starfleet uniforms, older versions of them, but brand new and shining. As a few of them approached the bar to order for all the others that took up buddy bars near to the stage and dance floor, he noticed that their combadges all had one small word inscribed on them, just below the Starfleet symbol. NAZGUL.
As they ordered their libations Manny aided in the mixing and pouring, and right as they finished with that first wave a familiar face wearing the same style of uniform walked up. "Griffon? You guys headed to a costume party, or something?"
Resch gave a laugh. "If only. I mean, it is close to Halloween, after all. But, no. New uniform choice from the CO of the Nazgul. I dig it. You should see the away gear. Classy, looks good, and doesn't look like we're all headed for a pajama party."
Manny chuckled. "Glad the new post agrees with you. Anything to drink?"
Griffon took a moment to let his eyes pass over the back of the bar. "Ya know, just a pitcher of Guinness and a pint glass." He looked towards the stage area. "Any bands tonight?"
"Nope," answered Manny as he filled the pitcher slowly, using the spoon to keep the froth down, speaking as he did so. "Open mic, though, as always."
Resch gave a broad smile. "Nice. I'll have to get in on that." His pitcher was placed before him, with an empty glass. He took up his drink of choice and the glass, heading back to a table full of mostly female crew mates. He poured himself a glass and let it settle as he then pulled his gold shirt off over his head, revealing his black, sleeveless undershirt. The girls all gave him teasing wolf whistles and a couple urging him on with "Take it off, Ensign". Sitting down on his stool Griffon gave them all a smile and wink, taking pulls off of his glass. When the first one went down, he refilled and sat listening to fellow crew talk about this, taht, and the other. After they had all had a drink down, and were working on their second, Griffon decided it was time. He filled his third pint, letting it sit while he got up and made his way to the stage. He could feel his table's eyes on his back as he went to the computer and set up two songs he wanted to sing, just for kicks and good times. Plus, the crew of the Nazgul deserved it after all the changes to the roster and the long patrol. He took up a mic, checked its charge, and then went to the front of the stage. "Hope y'all don't mind. I just felt like singing."
"Get some, Griff!" A male voice from the back of the crowd, everyone else laughing at that and cheering him on.
"Alright, here we go." He pressed the button on the mic to get the music started, his right heel tap/stomping as his head whipped around to the beat, with Griff placing the mic in a tall stand so he could hold onto it with both hands while belting out the lyrics.

Burn It To The Ground
{OA} (Original Artist) Nickelback
[Verse 1]
Well, it's midnight, damn right, we're wound up too tight
I've got a fist full of whiskey, the bottle just bit me
Oh
That shit makes me bat shit crazy
We've got no fear, no doubt, all in, balls out
[Chorus]
We're going out tonight (Hey!)
To kick out every light (Hey!)
Take anything we want (Hey!)
Drink everything in sight (Hey!)
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight
Ooh
Ooh
[Verse 2]
We're screaming like demons, swinging from the ceiling
I got a fist full of fifties, tequila just hit me
Oh
We got no class, no taste, no shirt, and shit faced
We got it lined up, shot down, firing back straight crown
[Chorus]
We're going out tonight (Hey!)
To kick out every light (Hey!)
Take anything we want (Hey!)
Drink everything in sight (Hey!)
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight
Ooh
Ooh
[Bridge]
Tickin' like a time bomb, drinkin' till the nights gone
Well, get your hands off of this glass, last call my ass
Well, no chain, no lock, and this train won't stop
We got no fear, no doubt, all in, balls out
[Chorus]
We're going out tonight (Hey!)
To kick out every light (Hey!)
Take anything we want (Hey!)
Drink everything in sight (Hey!)
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight
Ooh
We're going out tonight (Hey!)
To kick out every light (Hey!)
Take anything we want (Hey!)
Drink everything in sight (Hey!)
We're going till the world stops turning
While we burn it to the ground tonight

The crowd howled with pleasure, loud applause backed by shrill whistles. "Way to hit it, Griff!"
"Thanks. I sang that so I could sing this! To the crew of Nazgul, here we go!" Resch announced.

Centuries
{OA} Fall Out Boy
[Intro]
Du du du du-du du du
Du du du du du-du du du
[Chorus]
Some legends are told
Some turn to dust or to gold
But you will remember me
Remember me, for centuries
And just one mistake
Is all it will take
We'll go down in history
Remember me for centuries
Hey, hey, hey
Remember me for centuries
[Verse 1]
Mummified my teenage dreams
No, it’s nothing wrong with me
The kids are all wrong, the story’s all off
Heavy metal broke my heart
Come on, come on, and let me in
Bruises on your thighs like my fingerprints
And this is supposed to match
The darkness that you felt
I never meant for you to fix yourself
[Chorus]
Some legends are told
Some turn to dust or to gold
But you will remember me
Remember me, for centuries
And just one mistake
Is all it will take
We'll go down in history
Remember me for centuries
Hey, hey, hey
Remember me for centuries
[Verse 2]
And I can't stop 'til the whole world knows my name
Cause I was only born inside my dreams
Until you die for me, as long as there's a light, my shadow's over you
Cause I am the opposite of amnesia
And you're a cherry blossom
You're about to bloom
You look so pretty, but you're gone so soon
[Chorus]
Some legends are told
Some turn to dust or to gold
But you will remember me
Remember me, for centuries
And just one mistake
Is all it will take
We'll go down in history
Remember me for centuries
Hey, hey, hey
Remember me for centuries
[Bridge]
We’ve been here forever
And here’s the frozen proof
I could scream forever
We are the poisoned youth
[Chorus]
Some legends are told
Some turn to dust or to gold
But you will remember me
Remember me, for centuries
And just one mistake
Is all it will take
We'll go down in history
Remember me for centuries
Hey, hey, hey
Remember me for centuries

"Whoa!" Resch howled into the mic, raising a fist in the air. As the crowd cheered he pumped the fist. "That made me feel good!"
The gals at his table raised their hands in the air and began to chant. More! More! More!.
"Alright, alright. One more and then I get to drink, too."
The gals howled and applauded as Resch set the next song and got to work.

For The Glory
{OA} All Good Things
[Verse 1: Dan Murphy]
Better back down, you're in my domain
Got the whole crowd screaming out our name
It's a blowout, it's a hurricane
It's over before you know it
Why you shaking? We're a dynasty
In the making, we're the royalty
Now we're breaking down the enemy
Move over for the soldiers
[Pre-Chorus: Dan Murphy]
Take a swing, I can take a hit
If we die, it's fine, we live for this
It's all for this
[Chorus: Dan Murphy]
We're gonna stand on top with our hands in the sky
Gonna raise our cup to the stadium lights
For the glory, for the glory
For the glory, for the glory
We celebrate with the city tonight
Hear the hometown cheer, it's the ultimate high
For the glory, for the glory
We do it for the glory, for the glory
[Verse 2: Dan Murphy]
Yeah, we've waited for our time to come
Calculated everything we've done
We've upgraded, now you can't outrun
A champion, now you're facing one
Can you hear them? Yeah, it's all for us
You believe them? Yeah, it's serious
Hear the siren? We're victorious
I'm telling ya, can I get a hell yeah?
[Pre-Chorus: Dan Murphy]
Take a swing, I can take a hit
If we die, it's fine, we live for this
It's all for this
[Chorus: Dan Murphy]
We're gonna stand on top with our hands in the sky
Gonna raise our cup to the stadium lights
For the glory, for the glory
For the glory, for the glory
We celebrate with the city tonight
Hear the hometown cheer, it's the ultimate high
For the glory, for the glory
We do it for the glory, for the glory
[Chorus: Dan Murphy]
We're gonna stand on top with our hands in the sky
Gonna raise our cup to the stadium lights
For the glory, for the glory
For the glory, for the glory
We celebrate with the city tonight
Hear the hometown cheer, it's the ultimate high
For the glory, for the glory
We do it for the glory, for the glory
[Outro: Dan Murphy & Johnny 3 Tears]
This is why we do it
This is what we live for
We're on top
We're number one
Hands to the sky
Never back down
Never back down
You're gonna know my name
You're gonna know my name
For the glory

Giving a bow from the waist, Resch turned and walked back to the computer, placing the mic in its charging home. Hopping to the dance floor he walked over and sat down, getting friendly hugs and pats on the back for the music. The crew who were here were now jacked up and in a positive mood. That was the point.
