Station Post 35 " Perchance to Dream "

Sureth had been tranquilized and his body immediately went into repair mode. As there was no personal injury the repairs then centered on his Vulcan mind.

Despite being rid of the hallucinations sleep was still erotic and erratic for Sureth as his body tried to mend. His dreams consisted now of Diana and a young Isabella and the repeated argument that caused him to leave them both. Over and over the same scene filled Sureths REM sleep brought on by the effects from the Dragon Witches potion.

" NOOOO! " Sureth yelled out from sickbay.

Hearing Sureth yell out caused Williams to hit the deck running. Flying into his confinement room Ramvek looked at his friend "Are you alright.....are you in any pain" came the inquiry with some concern attached to his question.

Sureth teared up and answered " I lost her Ramvek...my Diana is leaving me.....wait where are we? Why am I in sickbay, report." Sureth slowly composed.

The Doctor could see some lucid moments coming from Sureth which was encouraging as he explained slowly "Sir, you had a mental breakdown and was brought here to Sick Bay. It was from a drug induced through a small patch which I removed from the back of your neck; from being in that place" then he paused before continuing "Unfortunately, as per Star Fleet regulations, I had no choice but to relieve you from duty until you get back to normal."

Sureth raised an eyebrow.
" You did your duty. I believe I now understand what has happened to me. It is not so different from.a.Vulcan mind meld. The entity we encountered has a strong mental ability. I believe she or it feeds off of negative thoughts and ideas. So by inducing sadness into her hosts she is able to draw power from that. Now that I am back to normal you can release me and I will be able to prove my theory. Has this effect any of the rest of you?" Sureth replied.

Ramvek walked over to the side of the bed and released the force field that was keeping Sureth contained "There I've released the force field so you can move around more easily. However you will need to recuperate for a couple of weeks before I can run the necessary tests to release you for duty" he explained then continued "Yes Ellie was patched as was Isabelle and neither lady experienced your symptoms. I am taking some of Isabelle's blood and I am going to synthesize a serum to form an antidote which should completely counteract any residual side effects that you may have from that drug."

" Did you also have a patch?" Sureth asked.

"Fortunately no I did not which was probably due to the honor they bestowed upon me. Had I been incapacitated from the drugs I fear for what may resulted for the rest of the away team" Ramvek explained.

" I will wait then Doctor William." Sureth replied.

Time froze for a second as a brilliant light appeared and a familiar figure named Jira appeared.

Ramvek looked up to see Sureth quiet just starring into the air "Sureth is everything ok" he inquired.

Jira then touched Ramvek.
" I am here for the Dragon Witch. Somehow she has escaped her purgatory. Do you know where she us Doctor Ramvek Williams?" Jira asked.

Ramvek stood in silence for a couple of moments in shock seeing Jira standing in front of him "They....she...." as he tried to form his thoughts "In a containment device on another deck. I can take you there if you wish" Ramvek finally explained.

" Thank you Doctor. The Dragon Witch is an evil entity.She thrives off of death and mayhem everywhere she has gone. She imprisoned the people of Hadah and created the evil horde called the Assul. " Jira replied.

As she spoke out side the station the large Overwatch vessel returned and awaited Jira's call.

"Then logically the sooner we get that thing off the Station the better for everyone" the Doctor replied "If you would like to go with me I will take you to the containment area where it's being kept" thinking he never wanted to see that Witch ever again.

Sureth listened as they conversed and watched as Ramvek left with Jira.

Following Ramvek Jira maintained her optimism but could sense the dread aboard the station that was intensifying. Passing Lt Myar she laid a hand on the male feline and immediately he began to purr like a kitten as her carism charmed him.back to a more melancholy state.

" Ramvek I am so sorry this has happened to your people. The purgatory was created to hold her evil. When the Assul attempted to enter the telestial kingdom the collapse exposed your ship to the purgatory. Once we return her to the purgatory your station will again return to its normal temperance." Jira reassured.

"And what of Commander Sureth, how long before he'll be back to normal. Unfortunately as the Chief Medical Office I was duty bound to relieve him from command due to his mental state" Ramvek explained.

" Once the evil is extracted pleasantness and tranquillity can return. The Dragon Witch feeds on negative thoughts and hatreds. I sense much here. She would feast on your people." Jira replied.

Finally making it to the containment area Williams and Kira walked in. Pointing to a large black container, most appropriate considering, Ramvek commented "There is the containment container, please fell free to take back from where it came from" as a sense of relief washed over him.

Jira smiled and then seized the device and in as magically she appeared she disappeared.

The large Overwatch vessel then flashed away just as fast through the wormhole. Closing it behind them as they went.

" Good ridence." Lt Myar yowled.

Williams grinned "I couldn't agree with you more Lieutenant" he replied then left to go back to work.

Back in sickbay Sureth sat up and used the side by side computer to check in on his station. Realizing his credentials had been frozen he composed his upset and rested.
