Having sent a text message to Captain Green that she had arrived, and been assigned her quarters, T'Pri went to her cabins and took rest after an hour of meditation to ground herself. Taking a three hour nap, she then got up and took a sonic shower to clean herself and her uniform, removing all the wrinkles from lying on her sofa with the sonic field seeing to keeping her hair the way she preferred it. Checking her reflection T'Pri saw that her appearance was now agreeable for duty. A quick check showed that she had not received a message in return from Captain Green. The Captain's secretary sent a missive, stating that the Captain was on free time, currently, and would be informed of T'Pri's arrival upon her return. Nothing for it, T'Pri took up her small over the shoulder carry case designed to carry her tricorder and PADD when not in her hands, slipped it on, and then left her quarters.

Arriving at the command decks some time later, T'Pri entered the foyer for the Commodore's office, approaching the desk for the CO's assistant. "Greetings. I am Lieutenant JG T'Pri. I have been newly assigned to M-69. However, Captain Green is on private time so I am here to announce my arrival to the commanding officer, Commodore Sureth."

The ensign at the desk had looked up as she approached, then listened politely with a pleasant expression. "Were you to report to Captain Green upon arrival?"

"Correct," said T'Pri. "My desire is to be listed as aboard and on duty as soon as possible."

The Ensign gave the guest a grin. "I'm sure we can assist with that. Allow me to inform the Commodore." With that said the Ensign reached over and tapped her small comm monitor for various departments, tapping the key that was away from all others as it was Sureth's direct call line from her desk. "Commodore, pardon the interruption, Sir. We have a junior officer here who says she is newly arrived by request of Captain Green. However, the Captain is on private time so she has come here to see you. Shall I send her in."

" Certainly. " Sureth replied as he prepared for the meeting with his senior staff.

When prompted to enter by the assistant, T'Pri walked into the Commanding Officer's office and came forward to the appropriate spot. "Commodore Sureth, I am Lieutenant T'Pri, assigned to Starbase M-69 by Admiral Aaron Stone at the behest of Captain Green. It is agreeable to meet you, Sir." Her posture was Vulcan proper, hands at her sides, but not at attention.

" I see. I was not informed of any assignments to join my station on behalf of Captain Greene. I only recently promoted her to Fleet Captain. In what capacity Lieutenant?" Sureth asked.

T'Pri found it most illogical that Captain Green had not informed her superior. Perhaps, with the most recent events, she had not found the time. Maintaining her Vulcan composure she answered. "I am a science officer, Commodore, with a specialization in archaeology and anthropology. It was the logical choice in my career since I am also a Starfleet diplomatic officer. The Captain felt that a member of the Starfleet Diplomatic Corps could be useful out here on the edge of Federation space. Admiral Stone agreed, and I was transferred." Having informed the Commodore of why she was here she did find herself wondering if he too would find her posting here agreeable.

" I am inclined to agree. This station needs a devoted science officer. Welcome to Starbase M-69 Lieutenant. It is agreeable to make your acquaintance. I am about to call a meeting of the senior staff. You are welcome to sit in and listen?" Sureth replied.

"Being present at the meeting could enhance my knowledge of the recent events and provide me a better understanding of why diplomacy broke down," said T'Pri. Even as she spoke she had concluded that it was also an opportune time to see all the faces she would be working with. Sureth's comment in regards to a 'devoted' science officer made her curious. The logical conclusion was that M-69's Science Department must be minimal. "I will attend this meeting, Commodore. I thank you for the opportunity. Allow me to see to a personal matter first, then I will arrive as quickly as I can."

" Diplomacy broke down because these beings hunt humans for food. Something has altered this and it occurred after Captain Shauna Callaghan and Captain Jamie O'Connell met with the Assul onvoy Warchief Loth aboard the Overwatch vessel. I am also awaiting a report. Take a seat over there and observe Lieutenant. " Sureth directed.

T'Pri gave a nod of acknowledgement and then moved toward the offered chair, taking a seat with proper posture.
