Mission:
THE LAST CRY FOR HELP
Location: M-69
Timeline: Current
ON:
The morning after the shake up with Bjorgo and the USS Nazgul, Captain Green was in her office once more. Having checked the reports from last night Ro saw that Lt. Commander Sean Loewen had taken command of the Nazgul, with all his command codes and directives noted and approved by her own system. Good, she thought. One less thing to worry about. Would she prefer to take command, sure she would. But, with her responsibilities here at M-69, running off to play captain of a cruiser was not in the cards. Green chastised herself somewhat, in a flippant manner, for not staying in the center seat back when she had had it. Bjorgo was a wild card, someone who was involved in various tasks and duties for the whole of Starfleet, not just a single facility or starship. Rogue had been Number One for over a decade under a single CO. She had bided her time and remained patient, knowing that her time to take command of a ship would come when it was destined to. She had seen many mistakes made by her previous CO, mistakes she promised herself she would never make after the many times she had had to clean up the CO's messes along with fellow crew.
Sitting lotus on the rug in the lounge area within her main office, her eyes closed as she meditated, Green grinned to herself at the jumble of memories, not only of her own life, but all the people she had worked with over the years; had counted on when the situations became deadly. Every free minute she had away from her duties, Ro had been working on perfecting her presentation for the Maji Order to Starfleet Command, and the Federation Council. It was a reality that she was determined to bring to fruition. All the visions she had of the Order showed it being accepted, and intertwined with the daily lives of those who joined, whether they could use the Force or not. It was a way of life, a choice in how one presented themselves and conducted themselves. Knowing that Sean Loewen was a Force user, and one chosen by Qeritas, was pleasing. While she remained here at M-69 as a Starfleet officer and a representative of the Meji, he would be out there representing the beliefs to many others throughout the cosmos. It was fortuitous that the Federation beliefs aligned almost perfectly with the Meji code of conduct. Another grin came to her face as she remained with eyes closed, the faces of T'Pri and Sureth coming and going along with their voices in her mind. They spoke of logic and how logically the UFP could not deny the existence of the Meji Order since it was a religion as much as a way of life.
Rising up from her meditation, bringing her mind back to the hear and now, Green's eyes opened and she got to her feet. T'Pri was her eyes and ears on Nazgul, and the Vulcan had been agreeable to reporting the happenings on the ship. She had forced Ro to make it an order to spy on her fellow officers, since it was distasteful for her to do it on her own. Vulcans exalted their privacy, so to ask them to breach the privacy of others was most disagreeable. T'Pri had made that abundantly clear. Green had made it an order, but then explained that it was more a personal observation of events, rather than spying. Loewen was new to command insofar as having a ship to see to, so having a logical observer to discern the what and when would be helpful in guiding the Commander's command style. T'Pri had hesitated after that explanation, but finally agreed.
With the pieces in place on the board, Captain Green could only wait and see how it would all play out.
