Mission: THE KINGDOMS COME AND GO
Location: M-69
Timeline: current

ON:

Lieutenant Gavin Lasso was sitting behind the desk for the Fleet Captain, playing Acting Fleet Captain at the behest of Captain Green, and had just logged away all that had happened with Nazgul, Capernum, and Malta. The bonus was that the NX-22 Malta was being towed to M-69 and Gavin was hoping for a chance to be able to go over and see a piece of history from actual history, not a holodeck or some tour ship. His comm speaker sounded. "Mister Lasso, M-69 Strategic Operations Chief wishes to come in and see you, Sir. Opening door, now." He looked up as the door did indeed open.

Taking her cue from the woman at the desk, and seeing the door open to the Fleet Captain main office, Kehzza stormed inside. Of course, a storming inside was the same for a Klingon as a casual gait was to Starfleet. She came inside and came up short as she entered, with Gavin's presence right there in her face and blocking her way from anything further. She almost skidded to a stop. "Lieutenant Gavin."

"At this time it is Captain Gavin, as I am the Acting Fleet Captain, M-69, in the Messier Sector." Not able to hold it together by trying to sound all official and all business, Lasso gave a laugh. "nuq neH, Kehzza?"

Kehzza could not help but grin at him in return, playing it cool to win her favor. It was working. "I'm here on business, Gavin. My Lady awaits outside. Please, grant her access to your office."

That slapped Gavin in the brain, causing him to immediately focus on the problem at hand. "Of course, Lieutenant." Lasso tapped his badge, talking to his assistant out at the front desk. "Send her in, please."

Within moments Commander Kehlani, son Higan (Hee-gun) in tow, Kehlani stepped into the office of Fleet Captain. "nuq neH, Gavin. I will call you Captain simply due to your current position as an acting officer." She gave a crooked grin.

"She's on her way back," Gavin stated. "I can get back to irritating Klingon women." He gave a short laugh.

Neither woman said anything about his effort, choosing to ignore it. Yeah, it had been bad. Kehlani looked to Kehzza. "Get him in line or, I will. First, and only, warning. Earn your place, both of you." Kehlani said that and then left the office, looking to find her own, which was listed as hers. IKS Tavanna, a Brel-class scout Bird of Prey, was her ship of choice. A dozen crew, small and unassuming. But, possessing one of the best cloak designs ever. It was high time that Kehlani got back to duty, what with Higan old enough to walk and grow strong physically. Time on the station would keep the Klingons informed, even if only non-classified data. It would keep some Houses busy trying to confirm a great portion of the data. They all agreed to meet for lunch, then went their separate ways.
