Loaded with civilians this container was very cramped with the station shop owners and their families and the children of the crew. Cal, the son of Lt Isabella Dallas and John also resided there. John felt very comfortable knowing the dedicated school staff and the new lady Lyrana was taking care of the children.

After visiting and playing with Cal, John Dallas returned to duty aboard Carrier 2 as a security guard for the time being.

Also aboard was the young privateer Blaine Rich who was very upset for the loss of his Skipper Mr Hogus who had been one of the casualties. Still mourning withna bottle of smuggled hooch he did not hear the arrival of Lyrana.

" Duchess you're still here? I didn't die." Blaine said with his drunken stooper.
" I see that. That is good . I am.sorry you lost your friend." Lyrana replied.
" How did you know?"
" I come from a race of listeners. What are your plans?" Lyrana asked.
" Plan?My world is ruined. I have no ship,no crew and no future." Rich replied.
" The future is always with us. It is here now and comes with opportunity. This station needs all the help it can get." Lyrana replied.

" I am no longer a Starfleeter. I resigned my commission." Rich replied.
" As a civilian you have more flexibility to act." Lyrana replied.

Blaine looked at Lyrana in a light he had never noticed.
" Duchess you are more than an aristocrat you are very wise."
" Not really you need to do something because you give me a headache. " Lyrana replied.

Blaine then left and came back.

" I did it. I am going to ask to be reinstated. We shall see."
