Location: USS NAZGUL
Timeline: current
ON:
Bjorgo was back aboard the Nazgul. The crew were all out and about enjoying their free time off the ship but his home was here, so it was here that he returned for sleeping. As always he awoke early, saw to his hygiene and got dressed, and then began to listen to music while casually chopping, slicing and cutting ingredients for another epic breakfast. This time, though, he made sure to make plenty for two. After the lunch he and Sheyla had eaten together yesterday, they had become friends. They had laughed, joked and talked about their pasts, their families (even though he did not have much to tell, and some things were not meant to be heard by others), and everything else. Work, private lives, and interests were also discussed.
Just as he had everything prepared, all the way down to the hand grated parmesan. Mixing all the ingredients into a hotel pan, he then poured in the whipped eggs, making sure to stir them in slowly so as to equally distribute the goodies. Satisfied that all was correct, he then picked up the pan and placed it in the oven, setting the temp to slow cook and make sure that all the flavors would cook and mingle together as they should. Once placed in the oven Tore then removed the apron and hung it on the hook next to the oven, gathering himself a cup of coffee from the freshly brewed pot. Real coffee was such a delight after drinking replicated, and this was a robust Columbian dark blend. The caffiene did nothing for him due to his Augment physique, but he did like the flavor of black coffee. Sipping and leaning his lumbar region back against the counter, Bjorgo became lost in thought over what he had read on his command PADD. Taavis was the new director for the fleet out here and that could make things interesting.
As expected, his door chime sounded. With a grin he looked at his door. "Come in."
Sheyla stepped inside Tore's quarters, this time seeing that the Captain was casual, sipping a hot beverage, and even had the wood burning stove in his quarters lit up. It was holographic, of course, but it smelled distinctly real, and the wood popped and fizzed as it should while being consumed by fire and turned into carbon waste. She could smell the food cooking. "Good morning, Tore. I take it I was expected?" She gave a knowing grin, approaching him and opening a cabinet to grab her own mug.
Bjorgo turned to face her, his right hip now touching the counter edge, watching her pour herself some coffee from the pot. "You're pretty easy to read, Sheyla. I have yet to meet an Andorian willing to pass up a hearty meal."
Taking up her mug with both hands, Sheyla blew on it occasionally as she spoke. "Fuel the body, fuel the mind, and use that strength to overcome all adversity."
"Uh-huh." He gave her a snarky grin. "Is it the food, or the company?"
"Both, honestly." Sheyla said this before sipping from the hot coffee. No smile, no grin, just a matter-of-fact answer.
"Good," Tore said, setting his cup down and going around her to open the oven and look at his breakfast dish. A baked version of an omelette, and by the looks of it, it was going to come out perfect. "I rather enjoy our little talks." He closed the oven carefully and turned to face her as she had spun to watch him while he did his thing. He noticed her coffee was no longer in her hand.
Sheyla's antennae were waving about, and her head tilted as she was listening to the music he had playing lightly in the background. "This music is rather good. Well composed. I have heard much of Earth's music, but this I have not heard before."
Bjorgo chuckled. "Stands to reason since you didn't know what a Nazgul was. This, my dear, is from a composer named Howard Shore. A man from Earth's history. This music is called The Rohirrim, from a series of films about the Lord of the Rings."
"Wait," said Sheyla, looking at him in surprise. "There are movies about the books?"
Another chuckle. "Yup," he said.
"Then why the books?" Asked Sheyla. "We could just sit and watch the films, right?"
Tore kept smiling at her, enjoying her pseudo-tirade. "We could have, and still can. I just thought you would enjoy good literature, and read the original print before ruining it with the films. They are a retelling, not exactly the same as the books. But, the point of the books is made in the films, so it works."
"That's it," she said with a giggly laugh, both hands coming up and grabbing fistfuls of his shirt. Sheyla shoved him back against the counter's edge, trapping him between her body and a solid object. As his lower back met solidity, her body pressed against his as her hands released his shirt and she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck, planting a deep kiss on him. Sheyla continued to kiss him for several long moments, then as quickly as she had attacked she stepped back and began to straighten her uniform. "There, now that that's out of the way."
Bjorgo had taken the whole event in stride, even kissing back as he had found the experience most pleasing. Sluicing a bit of saliva from his lower lip with a thumb, his eyes came back up to her after looking at the floor for a few moments. "That was...unexpected. Now, what am I, your Captain, supposed to do about it?"
Sheyla was fully prepared for any repercussions, positive or negative. "I'll take whatever you hand out...Captain. Just keep in mind one thing. Andorian females are more--aggressive in their pursuits. I have made an overture, now I await the response."
It was Tore's turn to reach out and grab a handful of her shirt, pulling her back into his arms. He kissed her, wrapping his arms around her body as they continued, feeling her arms snaking around his waist to hold him in return. When he broke the kiss, speaking into her mouth as their lips were still intimately close. "Response given."
Sheyla smiled, her eyes taking in the masculine face before her. She placed light kisses on his cheeks and the corners of his mouth, speaking low in between switching places. "Turn the oven off...we aren't...eating...for a while."
"Computer," he said, taking his face away from her wandering lips for a moment. "Turn off oven and keep the food in stasis." He looked back down at her after the computer acknowledged his request, and with Augment quickness, pulled her arms free and scooped her up and carried her towards his bedroom. They had no words between them as they went, seeing as how they were both engaged in kissing the other. The bedroom door closed behind them as they entered.
