Station #65: Reflection

Mission:
FINAL JUDGEMENT
Location: quarters
Timeline: Current
ON:
Ro Green was in her quarters, sitting lotus as if sitting with crossed legs on her butt on the floor. Through Alter, and telekinesis, Ro was hovering a meter off the carpet, her legs acting as if they were sitting on a hard surface, eyes closed in meditation, her hands placed on her knees in a relaxed manner. Orbiting around her were several small statuettes and other knick-knacks, maintaining a steady course and speed, remaining about ten inches away from her body.
Through a combination of both disciplines, Sense and Control, Green began to examine herself through the lens of the Force. Her physical characteristics, her synaptic pathways, any and all invading substances or toxins, and how her body was doing overall. Through her connection to the Force, Ro could sense the invading substance within her; Kironide. How it got there she knew not, even as her mind opened up to all she knew about the substance from past exposure to random reading she did when she had thought of going into medicine. The Force gave her the abilities she possessed, not this Kironide. However, her mind focused on the meeting earlier, with Sureth so focused on wanting everyone scanned. Green had been the cause for that, she knew, by rescuing the ship with her own powerful form of telekinesis. All things were weightless in space and even someone with a slight telekinetic ability would have been able to do what she had, just not at the distance she had done it, nor with the amount of control she had conveyed by moving the ship around. A mental sigh went through her being.
Ro could feel Cosmo and Rollo watching her float in the center of her living room, hearing Cosmo giving Rollo an explanation of how she was doing it even if he did not truly understand the Force or how it actually worked. He just knew that his Master possessed these powers, used them to help others, and was a good person for it. If she was not, he would not trust her the way he did.
All of this passed through Ro's mind even as she began to think about her past desire to form her own Order here in the Milky Way; an Order based on the Jedi from the Pallean galaxy. Similar, but not exactly the same. The Meji would include both Force users and non-users. Every society needed laborers, engineers, scientists, physicians, all that. The Meji Order would need those types, as well, to keep their own compounds and facilities functioning to aid the actual Meji Champions in their pursuit of justice and liberty for all. A free society was a healthy one and the Meji would work to aid in that. Green knew she would have to go to Earth and present herself to the Federation Council, proclaiming herself a Meji as a form of religion, and asking for the freedom to practice her religion like anyone else. Federation law believed in freedom of religion, no matter how complex and confusing it may seem to them.
The orbiting objects moved away from Ro, going back to their original spots on shelves and tables before her legs unfolded, her body doing a somersault spin slowly as it descended and her feet touched down on the deck softly. Her eyes came open and she breathed in and out a few times, grounding herself back in the now as she closed her meditation completely. In her Tholian satin PJ's, Green walked barefooted over to her replicator, ordering a bottle of spring water. Taking up the bottle she opened it and drank a few sips while standing and staring out at the stars through a window, her thoughts still moving around in her head. Green wanted to curse herself for being so overt with her abilities, having wanted to present them to Sureth in a far more casual manner. But, the people in danger had expedited the need to use her powers in their defense and for their safety. Now, thinking on it, Ro found it foolish to worry about it. What had happened had happened and there was no going back. To berate herself for it served no purpose other than to bring forth anxiety and regret, neither of which she felt for doing the right thing.
With the Force telling her that she had this Kironide in her body, Green found that disconcerting. She had never imbibed anything that had that element within it, and yet, the Force was telling her it was there. She had Midichlorians within her cells, the microscopic organisms that aided her in accessing the Force, but how this Kironide got there was a mystery. The Midichlorians were so microscopic, almost at the quantum level, that unless specifically looking for them, not many physicians in the known galaxy would even detect them. She would have to let Doctor Williams know of them if this Kironide business became an issue, and since the last staff meeting, it seemed that it was becoming just that. Ro had even asked Sureth if he was exhibiting powers from the element, and due to the others all talking with him, the query was overlooked as Sureth was trying to respond respectfully with everyone. Perhaps her Kironide had come from the Reman pod she had been placed in years ago, when her augmented body was created by a mishap in their technology. Instead of turning her into some kind of special meal for some god they were trying to appease and manifest, the pod had injected her with a variety of serums that had turned her into an advanced form of humanity. An Augment, for lack of a better term. Green preferred transhuman, since she had been transformed, not actually created from scratch.
Sipping more water, Green grinned and shrugged to herself. Standing here and reflecting on it all did nothing to provide answers. Not really wanting to, Ro knew she may have to call on Qeritas and ask the Q what gives.
A tremor in the Force. Green froze in place, reaching out immediately to try and sense where it had come from. It was close, very close, by the standards of space. Like a sensor sweep the Force was used all around the station as Ro reached out with her feelings. Locked in. There it was, coming from...USS Nazgul? What? Her brain asked herself. How? Another mental query that gave no answer. Then, another thought entered her mind as she turned from the window to go get dressed. ~Qeritas, what did you do?~
