Station Post " Arrival of the Dragon King "

As expected two Assul Command ships entered into the M-69 space and established their presence by hailing the station.

[ Federation station please prepare for the arrival of Ambassador Loth.] the message read into Lt Salem's ears.

He then toggled his comms and hailed sickbay.

< SICKBAY >

" Captain Callaghan we are being hailed by an Assul ship stating Ambassador Loth is aboard..." Salem reported.

Shauna was sitting on her biobed reading through reports trying to get caught up when the message came through. For a reason she couldn’t explain the mere mention of Loth’s name made her annoyed. “Is he now” She bit back an urge to deny permission to dock. “Arrange for the ship to dock, have security escort the Ambassador to Sickbay, I’m afraid Loth will have to put up with my not being there to meet him.”

" Yes Ma'am " Salem smiled as he replied.

A few minutes later the ship docked at an air lock as the Assul have no transporters.

The exiting Loth wore his robed garb but did not appear as he had once but now wore the humanoid facades.

" Take me to sick bay. Is Captain Callaghan ill?" Loth questioned.



Loth quickly entered and sprinted to Shauna's side, bowing to her rather than expecting her to rise.

" Captain Callaghan I was not aware you were ill. I came as soon as I heard." Loth explated.

Seeing the Ambassador at Captain Callaghan's side Ramvek quickly went over "Ambassador, I am Doctor Ramvek Williams, the Captain's physician. She is not ill but rather recovering from a surgical procedure" then he paused looking at the robed man "Please do not overtax the Captain as she needs her rest in order to heal properly" Ramvek concluded looking quite serious.

" I remember you Doctor Williams. I am wearing the Ring of The Overwatch which avails me to look humanoid. My people are on the verge of joining me once I am made Emperor. We will cast off our ravenous facades and embrace a new future for the Assul. Our trip back in time inspired my new initiatives. With the Dragon Queen now dead we have only to move forward." Loth repllied.

“The Dragon Queen isn’t dead” Shauna looked towards Loth as she put down the PaDD she was holding. “She resides with me now.”

" You are host of the Queen? Shauna please become my Empress. Together we can rule Assul with power and fairness for all." Loth replied.

“Your Queen!?” Shauna shook her head. “I have no intention of becoming your Queen. You have no right to call yourself the Dragon King, there has never been a King before!”

" But I hope to serve my people and give them an active leader. I thought you supported me?" Loth replied.

“I did, I do…” Shauna paused. “I’m sorry Loth my feelings are somewhat conflicted, your people have always had a Dragon Queen, not a King. The line of succession should continue, and I don’t mean with me.”

" I am confused. We were going to anoint the girl but then we went back in time and saw how all this came to be. It left me feeling like I needed to step up. But if you say you should be the Queen ? Shauna what has changed?" Loth replied.

“I’m not saying I should be the Queen Loth” Shauna paused. “I’m not just Shauna anymore, I possess the symbiont of the last Dragon Queen, one of a long line of Queen’s. To have a King now disrupts that line, it doesn’t feel right.”

" Oh the symbiont creature? I have encountered another such creature on a planet past the Assul Empire. We did not invade them. Are you ill with this thing in you? Do you think it is the Queen?" Loth asked.

Shauna shook her head. “I’m not ill, I’m…a combined being now, I have all the memories of my symbiont although it’s still all pretty jumbled right now.” She sighed. “I don’t feel like I’m supposed to be Queen, but I am supposed to help find her, I think.”

" But who? Where do we look?" Loth replied.

Shauna shrugged her shoulders, “I’ve no idea Loth, I wish I did.”

Unaware that on Loths ship the young girl Mirana had found a way aboard by first seducing an Assul guard and then finding her way to the ships bridge.

" Who are you ?"

" You poor stupid wretch. Don't you recognize me...I am your Queen."
