Mission: TALES FROM THE MIDDLE STARS
Location: USS NAZGUL
Timeline: Current

ON:

With the staff meeting over and everyone caught up on the situation, Captain Bjorgo had spent six hours in his quarters relaxing. Sheyla had joined him and ended up taking a nap on the sofa in his lounge area, her body enjoying the potbelly stove and the crackling fire. The trip to the Mutara Sector had taken them 13 hours and 37 minutes so he had told his Alpha shift to take some down time because they would be needed when they arrived. By his own intenral clock they were due to arrive within minutes. Sheyla's head was on his lap as she slept, her face pointed away from him as she slumbered. He would grin from time to time as her antennae would wave a bit as she dreamed, or when they were detecting something he could not. But, nothing too bad must have been detected since it did not wake her up. "Hey," he said, grasping her shoulder and shaking gently. "Time to get back to work."

As was her way, Sheyla's eyes popped open and she was wide awake that quick. Being a medical officer had aided her in that ability over the years, not to mention her Andorian military training. She sat up and rubbed her face, yawning and shaking off any sleep that remained. "Did I drool on you?" She asked with a grin.

Tore cracked a smile. "No. Not that that would be a bad thing."

Sheyla stood and bent to give him a kiss. "Hush and get to the Bridge, Captain." With a smile she kissed the tip of his nose and then sauntered out.

Bjorgo, as he got to his feet, asked himself how he had ever gotten so lucky. But, this was not the time for anymore thinking on that subject. Leaving his quarters he arrived on the Bridge in short order, seeing as he entered his entire Alpha shift back on duty. "Good to see you, folks. Hope you used the down time wisely."

After he had said that Kara spun her chair to look his way. "Captain, I'm getting some unusual readings."

"Already?" Bjorgo asked. As she turned back to her station he approached and looked over her head and shoulders. "What are we looking at?"

"It's the Gola, Sir." Kara offered. "Even this far out sensors are picking up an energy increase from within the creature. All our data from our previous encounter aided me in identifying what is was that was flaring up." She pointed to a monitor with a star chart on it and the border of the Mutara Sector. "That's USS Peel," she pointed to a blip with a Starfleet transponder code. "That is the Gola still behind them."

"They aren't moving," Bjorgo noticed.

"That was my next report, Captain. The Peel is at station keeping, with the Gola, and this vessel." She added another blip. "Unidentified."

Tore rubbed his chin in thought. "Captain Taavis did say there were those out here not too happy with the Gola homestead project."

"Qeritas." Bjorgo said as he turned his body to face her. "Send Peel a message that we are a few minutes out from our dropout point. Let Captain O'Connell know we'll contact him when we're on scene."

"Aye, Sir." Qeritas did her job, voicing the message to Peel and then closing the channel. She leaned back and stared out the front window as the wormhole swirled and whipped passed. She scrunched her face a moment as she realized that there was someone else going to Durana. Hmm. Hopefully, this Gola business would be over soon and then Nazgul could go where she had intended them to. After all, there was nothing wrong with a little fun.
