Station Post # 4 " Enemy at the Door part 1"

Commodore Sureth quickly reacted to the internal chatter about the Assul scout ship approaching the station.

" Captain Callaghan do we still have the code to the worm hole?”

Shauna gave Sureth a nod of her head. “As far as I’m aware Sir, but I don’t think allowing them access to the wormhole would be a good idea.”

" But it might give us a tactical advantage. Have tactical open the wormhole to the black hole at these coordinates. If we are lucky their curiosity will be their down fall." Sureth suggested.

Shauna nodded. “Aye Sir!” She relayed the coordinates to tactical hopefully Sureth’s plan would work.

Sureth also ordered the runabouts Ocoee and Clinch launched, each equipped with photon torpedo launchers to assist the Athena.

" Dr Williams prepare sickbay for casualties." Sureth then called down to sickbay.



Hearing Sureth's call "As you wish Commodore" then he paused "Let's hope anything requiring medical attention is minor" but Ramvek knew he had to be prepared for the worse case scenario regardless.

Walking back out into Sick Bay proper he stated in a loud voice "If I may your your attention please. Soon we may very well be under attack by the Azzul so we need to be ready for any casualties that come our way." Looking around the room "Nurse Stone you and your Nursing Staff please make sure all medical supplies are full at each Bio Bed. Doctors please check for the proper equipment at each bed as well" then he paused "Hopefully the injuries will be of a minor nature but be ready for the worst." Everyone did was ordered and shortly they were more than ready for whatever was to come their way,

Isabelle walked into Sickbay just as Ramvek finished his speech, she’d made sure her son was safe with another parent in one of the emergency shelters. “I’m here to help” she offered a brief smile.

Williams let out a brief sigh "One thing is for sure, I am certainly not going to refuse another pair of skilled hands; especially if things get ugly" he stated grateful for the extra help.

With Dr Hiri aboard the Athena all medical crews were placed on alert.

< OPERATIONS>

Lt Nic Covenant and Lt Salem manned their posts and prepared for the defense of the station.

" Captain Callaghan both runabouts are in position to intercept the Assul ship. Athena is gaining ground." Lt Salem reported from Tactical.

“Open the wormhole!” Shauna’s order was direct and to the point.
