Station Post # 7 " Fatal Assault "

Location: Starbase M-69

The Assul ship only paused a few moments then proceed to bring it's attack on the starbase.

Despite shields and weapons the large dreadnought proceeded further into transporter range. Then with a great blast the entire Station felt a weapon designed to destroys energy shields

The station shields flickered and it was soon discovered the Assul possessed a teleporting technology that allowed them to boars the station by use of a teleporting doorway.

The Assul had arrived.

Isabelle was in Sickbay ready to help out, her son safely locked in one of the examination rooms close by. She wasn’t going to let anything happen to her unborn child either.

Suddenly a door way appeared as troops of black leathered flesh smelling being from a nightmare appeared and began rummaging their way about.

One stopped and stared at Isabella.
" Where is the Princess?" it growled.

Seeing what was going on, Doctor Williams wasted no time getting out into sick bay proper walking up to the intruders "I am Doctor Ramvek Williams, Chief Medical Officer. What is the meaning of this intrusion....what do you want.....who are you people" he inquired already knowing the answers but decided to play dumb anyway.

The Assul Champion slapped Ramvek to the side and then seized Isabella. Passing her backward to his fellow Assul.

" Give me the Princess or this one is ours."

At the moment Ramvek was lost on how to proceed but like any good Doctor it was time to improvise "The girl you speak of needs another day of rest before she can travel and Isabelle is under my direct medical care; you see she has, how should I put this, a condition that needs constant medical monitoring" he stated not willing to say she was with child "Go back to your Ship, leave Isabelle here, and you can have the girl tomorrow" hoping this would buy the Station some time to deal with the intruders.

Champion motioned for them to return through the portal leafing back to the Assul ship. " I will take this one and you can exchange for the Princess...tomorrow." Champion mawked.

That was not the outcome that Ramvek had hoped for but he was prepared to do whatever was necessary to get Isabelle back. Clearly this was a case of 'the needs of the many out weighed the needs of the few'. Making his way to the young girl's room Williams would prepare her for tomorrow as he inquired "How are you feeling ?" Better Doctor" the young women replied. Dreading what he about to say he proceeded "I'm afraid the Assul are here and they have taken our Counselor in your place. I'm afraid we'll have to return you back to them if we ever want to see Isabelle again; unless a miracle happens in the meantime" he stated unaware of the USS Peel there to help out. "I thought that would happen sooner or later" then she paused "You do what you need to do Doctor." Ramvek sighed as he thought "May the gods have mercy on her."

Isabelle was unwillingly dragged away, she wasn’t sure where she was going to end up but right now she had little choice but to cooperate.

Elsewhere on the station similar arrivals of Assul came through portal openings as clashes between them and security began.

Off of the station the Athena finished off the scout ship which met its doom inside the portal leading directly to the black hole sectors away.

At Ops Sureth hailed the USS Peel for assistance while Ltjg Nic Covenant maintained power to the operations stations .

" Starbase M-69 to approaching vessels. The station is under attack by a hostile force. Do not approach this station." Commodore Sureths voice warned.
