The Bohr was half a parsec home when a priority one signal came in from Starbase Mercury.

" Commander you are being hailed by Captain Sureth," Mr Dallas reported.

Shauna nodded. “Put him on screen please Mr Dallas”

=∆= Commander Callaghan I understand you are returning? Was your rescue a success?" Sureth asked.

“Yes Sir” Shauna smiled warmly. “We found a group of survivors, Our Counsellor has been helping them settle in.”

" I look forward to your report. As you may know it is difficult for myself to command both this station and the USS Bohr. To that end Captain Deke Rivers, formerly of the USS XFINITY will be assuming command of the Bohr. I have no doubt that and Captain Rivers will make a fine command for that ship." Sureth informed.

Deke then appeared on screen.

" Hello Commander. I look forward to meeting you."

“Likewise Captain” Shauna offered a warm smile. “We should be back at the station in...just under an hour. I’ll see you both then.”

Deke smiled. "I look forward to it."

Shauna nodded before looking back at Sureth. “I believe Counsellor Veran has arranged for the baby we saved to remain with her. From what I understand the women we rescued tried to barter for the baby, to buy her. The Counsellor was...less than impressed.”

=∆= Yes unfortunately the Draail will barter anything. But their word is their bond. Someone or thing is targeting their shipments. When you return we will discuss this and some other issues Commander. =∆= Sureth replied

“Aye Sir” Shauna nodded. Truth be known she was looking forward to being back with Sureth.

The return was timely and soon the Bohr was back in Triome space.
