Frantically waiting for his wife's return Lt Commander Croesus practically stood beside the lift door awaiting Lt Kah’lyn to arrive.

Joined ironically by 2nd Lieutenant John Dallas both started up a conversation.

" Dallas you are a Marine Pilot? I understand you were in the last round with the Breen?" Croesus greeted .

" Yea...that's me. Not a good place to be sir. The Breen are...something else." John replied as his mind flashed back.

" Hang in there. At least you made it home." Croesus added.

“Something I’m very glad about!” Isabelle smiled as she stepped out of the lift looking towards John as the door opened mid conversation. “I thought I’d lost you once, never again!”

Kah’lyn stepped out behind Isabelle greeting her husband with a hug. “I don’t care if I’m on duty, you’re getting a hug” she grinned at Croesus.

" Not in front of the humans." Croesus joked as he returned the hug. "I hear you guys had quite a ride on the Athena?”

“It wasn’t that bad” Kah’lyn smiled. “Those on the Peel were the ones who had the rough ride.”

" I guess the Athena had some power issues. Now that your home we I will debrief you later." Croesus
Snickered under breath.

John wouldn't let go of Isabella.
" We got Tempest settled on the planetoid. I'm going to try to visit as much as I can. Isabella I would like to build on that planetoid. We could put a modulated home there." John added.

Isabelle looked at John in surprise. “Have a home on the planet?” She nodded enthusiastically. “I’d love to!”

" One of the engineers says he will help me build a quaint little cottage with a solar shield." John replied.

“Do you have any plans? I’d love to see them. Either that or we could set it up on the holodeck and plan it there?” Isabelle smiled enthusiastically.

" None yet. Let's grab Connor and plan a holodeck date." John replied.

Croesus couldn't help but over hear and in like manner whispered to Kah’lyn.

" Maybe if we stay here we should make some roots on that planetoid?" Croesus stated to Kah’lyn.

Kah’lyn smiled. “I’d like that, to have a real home in which to raise our family.”

Croesus looked and John was looking up as well both smiling at making their wives happy.

" Well my little Romulan you are needed at operations and I have to go talk to a man about a targh." Croesus joked.

Kah’lyn grinned. “Just make sure it’s a good one” she gave him a playful smile before heading for Ops.

" It looks to be quite the .... targh. " Croesus replied as he headed over to communications.
