[Deck 2 Family Quarters]

Johan had spoken to the Captain when they moved into the new Ship, concerning having family quarters since they were to be married sometime in the near future, which they were granted. Now that their collective shifts were finished for the day they returned home for dinner and relaxation.

After changing into more comfortable attire the couple sat on the couch talking as Johan worked up his nerve. Turning he took both of her hands in his while looking into her gorgeous dark green eyes "My love we have been engaged now for quite some time and obviously we are still very much in love" then he paused a brief moment "Heck my heart still races every time I see your gorgeous naked body. So what would you say to making it official and get married soon; that is if you're still inclined to do so" Johan inquired hoping for the right answer to his question.

Sarissa’s mouth practically dropped open as Johan raised the subject of marriage. “Are you kidding me!? I would love to get married!” She gave him a wide eyed, excited look. “You know how much I love you, to be married would make our relationship complete.”

With a big grin "Fantastic!!!! I was actually thinking along the same lines" then he paused "Ah.....Mrs. Sarissa Aloran-Albo; now that does have a nice ring to it. So next question how many guests would you like.....I was thinking maybe something on the smaller side....the Bridge crew since we work with them on a daily basis and perhaps a few close others on the ship....but that's your call since you are the Bride after all" Johan concluded with a big smile.

Sarissa paused to think it over. “I think a nice small ceremony, with a party that the rest of the crew can attend in the evening.” She smiled. “As for my surname I think Sarissa Albo sounds just wonderful. Now all we have to do is decide where and when.”

"As far as where I think our options are limited considering the condition the base is in; so most likely it'll have to be aboard ship. The when....we can talk to the Captain and come up with a day and time" Johan replied "Unless you have a magic rabbit up your sleeve" as he grinned.

“I wish!” Sarissa grinned. “I'm happy to be wherever you are, and there’s always the holodeck, plenty of options for destinations there.”

"And there's that magic rabbit....I never even gave the holo deck a thought" Johan replied with a smirk "Tell you what...where ever you want the destination to be is fine by me as long as you become my wife and partner for the rest of our lives."

“That’s all I’ve ever wanted Johan” Sarissa smiled the biggest smile yet. “I want nothing more than to be Mrs Albo!”

"Good" he whispered as he leaned in giving Sarissa a very affectionate kiss lasting for a few minutes "Maybe we should contact the Captain and inform him of our plans since he'll most likely be officiating at our wedding" Johan stated quite happy to hear himself say our wedding.

“I think that’s a very good idea” Sarissa smiled knowing very well she could willingly stay put and get carried away celebrating their wedding plans with Johan. “There's so much to do!”

"Don't stress yourself, between the two of us I'm sure we'll get things together before you know it" he replied trying to reassure his bride-to-be.

Sarissa nodded. “I’m not stressing, I’m excited.” She grinned. “I need to choose a dress, so that’s something I’ll need to see if the replicator can do.”

"I'm sure it can" then he paused with a smirk "That is unless you wanted to go with the old Betazoid tradition of getting married naked" then paused again "Ya probably not a good idea at that."

“Absolutely not” Sarissa shook her head. “Being naked in front of you isn’t a problem, but it’s definitely a no in front of anyone else.”

Johan couldn't help but chuckle hearing her statement "You know I was kidding right? Besides I'm not in the habit of parading around in my birthday suit in public....it's something I only do for you" he replied with a smile.

“I know” Sarissa grinned. “I enjoy that very much indeed” she gave him a wry smile. “To be honest I maybe Betazoid, but I’ve never been comfortable with the old tradition of nakedness in-front of others, just in private with those you love.”

"And I appreciate that" Johan replied with a smirk "Also you'll probably want to choose someone as a Maid of Honor and like I mentioned we should probably let the Captain know of our plans as well" then he paused "And I'll need to select a Best Man too."

“Like I said it’s a lot to plan, let’s start with the Captain and go from there.” Sarissa smiled warmly.

"As always you're right" Johan stated with a grin as he tapped his comm "Captain this is Lieutenant Albo."

"Yes Lieutenant, what can I do for you" Jamie inquired as he secured his Office.

"At your convenience Sir, Lieutenant Aloran and I would like to talk to you.....concerning a personal matter" Johan explained "I won't take long Captain."

Thinking a moment "I'm leaving the Bridge now.....if it's not imposing I could swing by your quarters for a few minutes" Jamie suggested.

Johan looked to Sarissa for a nod of approval.

Sarissa nodded her approval, the sooner the better as far as she was concerned.

"Yes Captain that will be fine" Johan replied "We'll see you soon, Albo out."

Minutes later the door chime went off; opening the door Johan smiled "Captain, please come in and make yourself comfortable" he stated as he steeped aside to let his guest in.

Walking in Jamie saw the other part of the duo "Sarissa how are you" then he turned towards Johan "So what can I do for you both and please we're off duty...it's Jamie."

Sarissa smiled warmly. “I’m very well thank you Jamie, we…” she looked at Johan for him to carry on.

Seeing Sarissa looking straight at him "Yes we have something we'd like to discuss with you Cap....sorry old habits...Jamie and please have a seat" Johan commented.

Jamie sat in the chair and the couple sat on the couch next to each other "We've decided to set a date soon for our wedding and we were" as he paused a moment "Wondering if you would officiate our wedding.....it would mean a lot to us" he concluded.

Jamie smiled "It would be my honor and privilege to do so" then he paused and with a smirk looking at Johan "The only thing I can say is.....it's about damn time man you did right by this lovely woman."

Johan grinned as he took her hand "I couldn't agree with you more Jamie and I plan on making this young lady very happy."

Sarissa smiled as she held onto Johan’s hand. “I will make you just as happy.” Turning to Jamie she gave him a big smile. “Thank you Jamie, we have a lot of planning to do so we’ll have to organise a suitable date and time.”

Jamie stood "I should be going; don't want to intrude in your off duty time" he commented with a grin "Let me know the date, time, and the location aboard ship and we'll make it happen."

The couple stood as well with Johan extending his hand "Thank you Jamie for meeting with us so soon" as both Officers shook hands.

“Thank you so much Jamie” Sarissa smiled as she offered a polite hug rather than a handshake. “I can hardly wait!”

Smiling "You're both welcome; besides I can't think of a better way to make a new ship feel like home than a wedding. If you need anything please remember my door is always open" Jamie commented before heading for the door.

Walking his Captain to the door "Thanks again and we'll keep you apprised of our progress." Jamie smiled then exited their quarters.

Walking over to his bride-to-be "That went well; so we have the first piece of the puzzle in place" Johan stated with a smile.

Sarissa nodded. “Now for the rest of the pieces” she smiled enthusiastically. “This is going to be nerve wracking and amazing all at the same time!”

"More than likely, but we'll do it together the same way we'll travel along life together" he replied with a big smile knowing without any doubts they were meant to be together.
