Peel Post #3-A Few Surprises

Mission: TRUTH BE TOLD

{Deck 2}

Angel and Jamie stepped off the Lift, still discussing their new Mission, and headed for her Quarters for a nightcap. Walking in Angel commented "Please have a seat and make yourself comfortable; what would you like to drink."

"I'll take a Whiskey neat, If you have any. Otherwise surprise me" Jamie replied taking a seat on the couch. Waiting for his drink Jamie's eyes were surveying Angel's quarters for the very first time thinking how nice and comfortable it felt here.

Angel walked back over and handed Jamie his drink "I did have some Whiskey so here you go" she commented as she sat beside her Captain with a glass of red wine.

Jamie took a long sip of his drink, swallowed, then looked at his Number One with a grin "Ok, this is the real deal isn't it" he inquired still grinning.

Angel just smiled "You know you're not the only one who bends the rules a little when it comes to adult beverages" she commented.

Jamie realized he'd been caught "Guilty as charged! Rank does have it's privileges; albeit not very many" he replied with a big grin.

Angel laughed a little at his reply then became quite serious "I know we've discussed the parameters of this mission Jamie, but do you have any reservations about it" she queried wanting to know what was on his mind.

After thinking for a moment, and taking another sip of his drink "Obviously I don't have a problem with transporting the Lieutenant to the meeting" then he paused for a moment "But my concern is not knowing the climate of the situation. Are we walking into the proverbial hornet's nest with factions from both Planets wanting to start a war; not to mention can we keep T'Den safe while she's off-ship" Jamie concluded.

"Looks like great minds think alike" she replied with a grin "I have many of the same concerns as you do" then she thought for a moment "As a suggestion, perhaps I should escort T'Den to the surface myself; I do have a rather extensive background in various Martial Arts."

"As much as I hate the idea of having you off-ship during a Mission, that probably would be a good compromise between duty and safety. Also it would allow our Tactical Chief to remain on the Ship just in case.

"That's what I was thinking when I suggested it; plus I'll have a few concealed Martial Arts weapons on my person along with an emergency beam out patch on each of us in case things should go sideways" Angel explained "That should increase our safety factor by quite a bit."

Jamie grinned "Well enough shop talk. I must say I really like what you've done with your quarters; it feels very..... comfortable here " he stated.

"Since this is my home, at least for however long Star Fleet decides to leave me here, I wanted it to be comfortable and not so sterile looking" Angel replied.

"You certainly have accomplished that, unlike myself who's quarters are pretty much the same as when I came aboard" he replied with a light chuckle "And for the record you can be my Number One for as long as you wish."

"That my be, but you're the first Captain that I have ever seen with his own Kitchen. So I would say you've done much the same as myself only in a different way; and I know I very much enjoy your Kitchen with all the delicious food you prepare" Angel concluded with a grin "And thank you for saying so, it means a lot."

"I enjoy making good food as much as I do eating it; and I do enjoy cooking for others as well. The fact you enjoy it so much is a plus" Jamie replied with a grin. Realizing the time he stood "I should be going and let you get some sleep."

Angel stood and walked up to Jamie "Before you leave there is something I have been meaning to say to you. Being Betazoid I do pick up on peoples desires and some of their thoughts. I have sensed you have wondered how it would be to kiss me, on more than one occasion I might add" she explained with a grin.

A very shocked Jamie just stood for several moments trying to find the right words to say so he didn't sound like a complete idiot and knew he couldn't lie to a Betazoid "I will admit that thought has crossed my mind from time to time, and why wouldn't it you are a beautiful woman" then he paused "But thinking it and acting on it are two totally separate things" he concluded feeling a little embarrassed at the moment.

Angel grinned "Fair point. My job as your First Officer is to make sure you stay focused all times. That being said I wouldn't want this to be a distraction to you. Maybe you should find out what it would be like to kiss me" as she stepped a little closer to Jamie "If you'd like, that is."

Jamie grinned figuring he may as well, but just this once "Alright" then he leaned in and gave Angel a nice kiss, for more than a couple of minutes. Then looking into her gorgeous blue eyes "That was even nicer than I had imagined."

Angel smiled "Thank you, that was pretty nice for me as well" she whispered "I'll see you tomorrow at zero eight hundred then?"

"Yes, I will see you on the Bridge" he replied then turned and left for his quarters before he did something really stupid.

After Jamie left Angel sat on the couch with another glass of wine thinking "Jamie is quite a nice kisser" then she sipped her wine "But I suppose this should be a one time event" as a big grin came across her face.


[Elsewhere on Deck 2]

Meanwhile down the Corridor Johan was on his way to see Sarissa again; if only for a goodnight kiss if she was tired. Walking up to her door he palmed the chime and waited for a response.

Sarissa was hoping Johan would drop by at the end of his shift, in all honesty she couldn’t wait to spend more time with him. Answering the door she smiled warmly. “Hey, I was hoping you’d drop by, come on in.”

Johan returned her smile as he walked in "I didn't want the day to end without giving you a goodnight kiss" as he proceeded to give her a very affectionate kiss "It's a shame we were interrupted earlier."

Sarissa draped her arms around Johan’s neck. “Indeed it is, but there’s no one to interrupt us now.” She smiled as she leant in for a more passionate kiss. She let it linger before leaning back just a little. “You don’t have anywhere to be tonight do you?”

Johan just smiled as he said in a low voice "Yes actually I do.....to be here with you" he replied before returning her very passionate kiss which he enjoyed so very much.

Sarissa was thrilled with that answer, she returned his kiss as they practically danced their way towards her bedroom, almost unwilling to let each other go long enough to walk there. A small trail of clothing was left in their wake.

As the two stood in her bedroom, now completely naked, Johan couldn't help but comment looking into her lovely dark green eyes "You are so beautiful, so sexy I can hardly stand it; being here with you seems so right" then he kissed her deeply and lovingly.

Sarissa returned Johan’s kiss, she loved him more than words could ever say. As their lips parted she looked into his eyes. “Then maybe think about moving in together?” Her fingers gently trailed over his skin. “You don’t have to answer now, just think about it.” With that she pulled him down onto the bed.

"She must have been reading my mind" Johan thought to himself as he surrendered himself to Sarissa making love for the next few hours.

[Sometime Later]

The couple were laying next to one another being quite content "To answer your question from earlier, before you took advantage of me, let me think about it" he commented teasingly with a bid grin.

“I did say you didn’t have to answer now” Sarissa smiled warmly. “I can always let myself in to your quarters if I want to surprise you!” She grinned a wry grin. “In all honesty I can’t imagine myself without you now.”

"Any time you want to surprise me feel free" Johan replied with a grin as his hand slid gently over her loveliness "And don't worry, I'm not going anywhere" as he pulled her closer and gave her a very passionate kiss.

Sarissa practically melted into Johan’s embrace and kiss, one thing was for certain she wasn’t going to let Johan be the one that got away.

Johan lay next to Sarissa enjoying every moment being with her wondering how he got so damn lucky having this vision, this beauty in his life. It became very quiet as the two lovers drifted off to sleep.
