Station Post # 14 " Rescue part 2 "

Mission: OPERATION SEARCH AND RESCUE
Location: Near the Lagoon Nebula
Timeline: Concurrent to post 12 " Rescue part 1"

The Klingons were ready to pounce on the Chus'ugh as they waited for the arrival of who ever was out there.
" What's happening up there Commander?" Waroq yelled through the comms.

Shauna was keeping a careful eye on everything as she answered. “We’re moving into position behind the enemy as we speak Sir, we’re cloaked they have no idea we’re here.”

" The phrase is my Lord not....sir." Kahvek teased.

“Your Lord, Kahvek” Shauna offered a wry smile. “Just Sir or Commander to me.”

Oblivious to the meaning Waroq continued to grimace in the face of his prisoner Biggs.

==Huron==

David watched the display with some anticipation, they were caught between the proverbial rock and a hard place, a mysterious contact was enroute, they had a hostile ship stirring the pot and trigger happy Klingons laying in wait to start something, not exactly what he thought his first command was going to be like, "Status on the unknown ship?"

"Three minutes out, still at warp six, not showing signs they are at alert either, should we try hailing again?" Aya asked

"Open a channel, let's see what the hell is going on."

Aya looked at her readings, puzzled then confused, "David, They're hailing us."

"Open the channel." David said swinging his chair to center.

=^="My apologies Mr Wallace, we are here to transfer this ship to the starbase when we received orders too assist you."=^=

David sat back a bit looking too Isabelle and Aya, "That's interesting, now who the hell are you?"

=^="I'm Lieutenant Syk here to transfer USS Furious to your command sir."=^=

Dumbfounded, "Wait...what?"

Cleared from the nurse aboard Captain Deke Rivers entered the bridge as those words were said.

" Captain on the bridge," Jon Dallas announced as he accompanied Rivers.

Isabelle stood alongside her seat as she nodded to Rivers as he joined them on the bridge.

David stood "Stand by Furious." turning to rivers "How are you Captain Rivers?"

" I am fine. Have you destroyed these bastards yet? Who is this guy? Deke asked curiously

David just paused, "Tow the bucket back to the station, we'll sort this out there."

" Captain take my seat . " Warrant Officer Dallas offered.

" Thank you Mister. " Deke said accepting.

The hulled vessel was then pulled at space normal speed as they were escorted by a now uncloaked Klingon D-7 A cruiser back to Starbase M-69.

Shauna stood on the bridge of the cruiser wondering just how she was going to face Deke, especially as he left the station right after the two of them had declared love for one another. He had more or less walked out on her without so much as a goodbye. It was going to be awkward to say the least.

Waroq returned to his bridge and stood over her.
" You look like you have the weight of the universe on your back Commander. Kahvek is a skilled bat'leth champion if you need a sparring partner?"

Shauna turned to look at Kahvek, “What do you say Kahvek? Would you be prepared to face me?”

" YES...The winner names the stakes.: Kahvek replied.

Shauna nodded. “Fair enough, if you’re willing to accept being beaten by a woman.” She grinned a wry grin.

Kahvek then stood up to Shauna and smiled.

" If you beat me then you are a better warrior Commander. But you will not beat me."

==HURON==

An incoming call from Starbase M-69 rang out to Lt Commander David Wallace attention.

" Sir it is Commodore Sureth." Dallas reported.

Isabelle looked towards the viewscreen as her father appeared.

[ Commander Wallace status report. Long range sensors show you are still being followed by an unknown vessel?]

David paused the moment was a much clearer, "Winters is secured, NX is a friendly, we have the Essary ship as well." David stopped to collect his thoughts, "We're going to take the Essary in tow and return to the station."

David looked at the main display, "Rig for towing, signal Chus'ugh and Furious to form up for escort on the Essary ship, plot a return course too the station best speed."

==Starbase M-69 ==

Sureth turned around from the big viewer to the Ops officer on duty.
" Inform the dock foreman we have guests coming."
