Mission: USS PEEL Flirting with the Unknown

{Deck 1}

The Alpha Shift arrived on the Bridge right on time, and after checking in with Gamma Shift, assumed control of their Stations being ready for another day. Captain O'Connell quickly looked over his duty padd for anything that would need his immediate attention. Finding no such items, and returning it to its proper place, the other things could wait until later as he inquired "Helm what's our ETA to the Cabral Sector."

Checking his screen then turning to face the Captain "Sir we'll be arriving at the Cabral Sector in four hours and Boroth in five."

"Thank you Helm" Jamie commented then tapping his Comm "Lieutenant Yesrin Jen, this is the Captain, we'll be at Boroth in five hours for your information."

"Thank you Captain, that'll be a big help; now I can figure our departure time with Ensign Barot. Jen out."

O'Connell wanted to touch base with another department as he tapped his Comm once again "Engineering this is the Captain."

"Lieutenant Flannery here, go ahead Captain" he replied eager to see what the Captain wanted.

"Lieutenant when we arrive at the Moon by Boroth, if we were to have any prying eyes looking our way could you fake engine problems" Jamie inquired just in case.

"Yes Captain. Just let me know and I can vent a small amount of plasma every so often to make it appear we're having warp core issues" Marcus replied with certainly.

"Excellent Lieutenant, I'll keep you posted. O'Connell out." then looking towards Angel "Just in case we need to fake it" he stated with a grin "I knew it could be done but I wanted to hear it from out acting Engineering Chief."

"Better to get things in motion now rather than when we need them " Commander Devroe replied with a grin. Jamie nodded in agreement.

{Deck 4}

Meanwhile Yesrin was making any final adjustments before her impending Op. Grabbing her padd she brought up her list of things to check. Looking it over Yesrin stated out loud "Ok, the four Marines that are standby have their uniforms and non Federation weapons; so they're all set." Then looking over her gear "So I think I have everything I'm going to need and then some. What do you think Jen." [Looks good to me except I don't see your special weapon] he replied. "Good eye old friend" as Yesrin grabbed her double edged knife that could sever a limb in one stroke; this was a weapon Jen showed her how to make and use with deadliness. "Lastly Ensign Barot has her Diplomat's uniform; now I'll grab her a non Federation phaser just in case. There now I think I'm ready" she stated having already loaded up her wrist micro computer with all the data that Stoner had sent her previously.

{Deck 1}

Five hours later Helm called out "Captain we're approaching Boroth's Moon Sir."

"Drop us out of warp....one half impulse and hide us as much as you safely can behind that moon" Jamie ordered having full confidence in Ensign Hanes.

"Understood Sir. Dropping out of warp now....going to one half impulse....making necessary course changes" Hanes called out and a few minutes later "In position Captain."

"Well done Mr. Hanes; set us at station keeping" then looking towards Tactical "Lieutenant San Chez keep a close eye out for any uninvited guests." as Jamie's eyes shifted to Science "Lieutenant Sayvek find a clear path just in case we needed to bug out of here in a hurry" the Captain ordered.

"As you wish Captain" Maria replied as she changed up the Screens at her Station.

" Acknowledged, alternative course plotted and laid in. Relaying to helm...now." Sayvek replied.

O'Connell then looked to his left "Counselor should we encounter any visitors, I'll be needing your expertise on their intentions over and above what they actually say" he requested knowing Sarrisa was very talented with her gifts.

“Of course Captain” Sarissa smiled warmly as she looked towards Jamie.

{Deck 4}

Yesrin Jen was dressed for the upcoming Op, including all her Infiltration tech and weapons. Tapping her Comm "Ensign Barot, Jen here, are we ready to get things started" she inquired.

"I'm all set. Meet me in Shuttle Bay 2 on Deck 5 and we can get this party started" Samantha replied looking forward to a new challenge.

"On my way" Yesrin replied. After securing the Intelligence Department, she headed towards her destination. Tapping her Comm on the way "Captain O'Connell we're all set to get started. Permission to depart the Peel after I board the Shuttle."

"Permission granted Lieutenant and have a safe Op; please come back unharmed and in one piece" the Captain commented hoping for the best with this new type of mission.

"Thank you Captain, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Jen out" she replied as she entered Shuttle Bay 2. Walking up to the Shuttle Sam was waiting outside for her "Yesrin if you're good to go then climb aboard.....I've already done my preflight check so we can leave momentarily."

"I'm good to go, as you put it" Yesrin answered with a grin. The two Officers walked onto their ride and took their respective seats as Yesrin could sense Jen [Ok, let's do this] he stated excited to be back out in the field and off the Ship.

Opening a Comms channel "Bay Chief, this is Diplomatic Shuttle requesting permission to depart" Sam stated. "Permission granted, have safe travels and we'll see you upon your return" the Chief replied.

Looking towards Yesrin as she lifted the Shuttle off the Deck "Hang onto your panties sister, we'll be making a steep bank once we clear the Ship" Sam commented with a grin.
